Stoke-on-Trent PCT Project Short Listed for National HSJ Award
Brilliant Futures is delighted to announce that one of the projects it has worked on has been short listed for a national social marketing award.
Brilliant Futures was commissioned by Stoke on Trent PCT to work with a small team on their first end – to - end social marketing project.
The project, which aimed to increase the number of women who quit smoking during pregnancy, has delivered promising early results.
Initial results from the pilot project are very encouraging with a 300% increase in the quit rate in one of the areas where the intervention was tested.
A full evaluation of the project is currently being undertaken and summary will be available on the website soon. In the meantime fingers are crossed for the 1st December 2008 when the winning project will be announced at the Health Service Journal Awards in London.
