Passionate About Social Marketing
Our team comprises experienced professionals from a range of backgrounds who are passionate about making a difference with social marketing. All our facilitators are trained and experienced to a high level and our consultants come from consumer, research, health, environment and academic backgrounds, providing a rich diversity of skill and experience.
Sarah Cork
Sarah Cork is Managing Director of Brilliant Futures which she founded in 2003.
Having worked in the commercial and charity marketing sector for over 10 years she now enjoys using this knowledge and experience of the commercial world and practical experience within the health and education sector to help other organisations use marketing tools and techniques to promote positive behavioral change.
As well as designing and developing practical social marketing interventions she is also an experienced marketing consultant. Sarah also designs and delivers the Brilliant Futures social marketing training programmes. She has developed a comprehensive portfolio of social marketing courses and has been responsible for forming the strategic partnership with the NSMC. She has extensive previous training and facilitation experience including designing and leading courses for The Princes Trust, Business Link and various schools and colleges.
Sarah combines her commercial activities with a part-time post as Senior Lecturer in Marketing at University of Brighton.
Sarah lives in Henfield with her husband, toddler daughter and dog and enjoys sailing, playing in the garden and enjoying a glass of wine watching the sun set over the south downs.
As a chartered marketer, Vivienne has 25 years of commercial marketing and management experience. She has extensive experience, to board level, across a range of industries developing, managing and implementing national and international marketing campaigns. Viv lives in Hove with husband Steve and enjoys walking in the countryside and along the sea shore, stopping often to listen to ever changing sounds of the sea. Matthew Wood has an extensive marketing background specialising in market research. Matt lives in Hove with his wife and three children (ranging from 6 to 18!). He enjoys keeping fit, quaffing a pint of real ale (preferably Harvey's from Lewes) and attempting not to lose too many balls on the spectacular Downs golf courses. With over 15 years experience of commercial marketing including running a small marketing agency, Susannah lives in Henfield with her partner Lee and has embraced country life enjoying time with her pets and in the garden developing green fingers!
Vivienne Caisey
In 2004 she began working with Sarah Cork at Brilliant Futures contributing to a range of social marketing interventions including Fuel for Fun™ and Healthy Enterprise™. She has worked closely with Sarah on a range of social marketing training programmes. In addition to running regular training sessions at the National Social Marketing Centre she has coordinated and co-facilitated bespoke training courses for a wide range of PCT, Health Networks and Public Sector clients. Vivienne is a Fellow of, and holds a diploma from, the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Matthew Wood
He is a lead facilitator on Brilliant Futures’ Social Marketing courses and is a member of the National Social Marketing Centre’s Academic Network.
Matthew combines his commercial activities with his academic work as Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Brighton where he is Course Leader for the undergraduate business studies programmes. He is a frequent presenter at leading marketing conferences.
Previously Matthew was an account manager for Taylor Nelson Sofres, a leading commercial market research company working on their consumer panel research operations in London and Sydney. He has also managed a qualitative research viewing facility and is currently setting up a similar facility within Brighton Business School.
Susannah Hines
Susannah has extensive experience across a wide range of market sectors aimed at a variety of target audiences. She was involved in developing, managing and implementing national and international marketing campaigns using many forms of interventions: sales promotion, events, direct mail, web, mobile phones, press, PR and telemarketing. For the past 3 years, she has been offering marketing consultancy and coaching to small local businesses working on their positioning, proposition, development of business and marketing plans, business development and tactical implementation.
In April 2007, Susannah joined Brilliant Futures embracing the challenge to use her commercial knowledge to good effect in a social marketing context. With strong presentation skills, she is working closely with the team in the delivery of social marketing training programmes alongside project management of Brilliant Futures consultancy work.
